Who are we ?

            DON AND JEANNE PICKERS

Having built "Katrine" our Simonis designed Parlay catamaran in South Africa, we launched her on the 26th January, 2001and set sail from Durban Harbour. Our travels took us to Madagascar, Mayotte in the Comoros, and on to Thailand. We returned across the Indian ocean to  spend a few months in the Maldives and Chagos the following year,  then back to Thailand on to Malaysia, and down the Malacca Straits to spend a season on the East coast of the Peninsular

Since then we have been cruising between Thailand, Malaysia and India enjoying the beauty of the Andaman Sea.

Our family is spread far and wide. Sue and her husband Richard with their children Rayson and Rebecca, live in South Africa. Robyn works in America. Greg Anne and their boys, Allan, Grant and Calvin, live in Australia, and Des and Mike begin their married life together in Brisbane

And Kath, whose memory and inspiration live on in our lives forever and for whom our boat is named.
